Howdy,
I am attending MLA this year but need to do it on a small budget. I figure, surely, I am not the only one who needs to do this.
If anyone is looking for or would be willing to have a quiet, easy going, low-maintenance, female roommate to save a little money, PLEASE reach out or just reply to me. (References upon request???)

Passing along this call for chapter proposals on behalf of my colleague, Meredith Solomon. Cross-posted — you may have multiple opportunities to consider this opportunity! --- We seek chapter proposals from library workers interested in investigating the unexplored concerns and challenges of slow librarianship. The slow food movement in Italy inspired the concept of slow librarianship, and it was initially articulated through the lens of white women academics. While there have been some critiques, this new volume aims to provide a collaborative platform for colleagues to identify and thoughtfully discuss, in more detail, its nuances, deeper intricacies, and wider implications.

Good nutrition, combined with physical activity, can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases, and promote your overall health. This month the Advisory Group has selected three books to help ask questions about the food and nutrition information we digest from various sources including websites, streaming services, podcasts, advertisements, and friends & family. The best way to guard against questionable health products and services is to be an informed consumer. Let the NNLM Reading Club help get the conversation started.
